Diabetics hit harder by COVID-19
NEW STUDY. People with type 2 diabetes are at significantly elevated risk of needing intensive care if they get COVID-19. New marker predicts benefit of radiotherapy for early-stage breast cancer

A study involving researchers at University of Gothenburg and Karolinska Institutet in Sweden has found that low levels of a protein called PDGFRb are associated with particularly good results of radiotherapy in women with early-stage breast cancer.
