Madeleine Rådinger is now professor of asthma and allergy research

22 May, 2020

Akademiliv congratulates Madeleine Rådinger on the professorship! Her research group studies the immune system in different types of asthma, to increase understanding of the immune system’s regulation in subgroups of asthma, with emphasis on microRNAs. Recently, her group published a study showing clear differences in microRNA expression between people with allergic asthma and non-allergic asthma, suggesting that these microRNAs affect the immune system. The goal is to contribute to targeted treatment and diagnosis by identifying molecules that drive the development of asthma symptoms. Madeleine Rådinger is also the director of the Krefting Research Center.

19 May, 2020

When GUL closes on June 30 this year, users will need to save their materials. Students also need to retrieve the files they want to save before then. Access to GUL will then be very limited to specially appointed persons. In December 2022, the system GUL will completely cease. As usual, the administration saves the course documentation in paper form for archiving. This applies to study guidance, course evaluation, syllabus, literature list, schedule and approved degree projects.
