The L’Oréal-Unesco For Women in Science Award in Sweden recognizes, encourages and rewards female researchers who have shown great potential in medicine, science or technology. Two prize winners each receive SEK 150,000. Eligible to apply are researchers who received their doctorate in 2016 or later and who are active at a university or research institute in Sweden. Previous award winners include Aishe Sarshad, at the Institute of Biomedicine. The call is open until September 27. The prize is awarded in collaboration between L’Oréal Sweden, the Swedish UNESCO Council and the Swedish Young Academy.
