Here, we focus on two areas of particular societal importance in relation to the transition to person-centeredness in the healthcare sector:

  • Collaboration with patient and family representatives in healthcare organisations at different organisational levels and/or in healthcare research.
  • Sustainability of person-centred care systems during critically challenging societal events such as the on-going pandemic.

Deadline: January 10,  2021.

ALF funds for 2020 can also be used next year – VGR agreement ready in mid-December

26 November, 2020

Much of the ALF funds for clinical research, training of doctors and the development of health care will not be able to be used in 2020. According to the current ALF agreement, unused funds must be repaid, but now the government is making an addition to the ALF agreement so that the regions can use the 2020 funds also during 2021. The balances on the respective ALF responsibilities at the turn of the year 2020, surpluses and deficits, will be balanced until next year. The supplementary agreement will be signed by VGR with a decision on 15 December, so this announcement may be seen as preliminary information until the agreement is signed. If you have any questions – please contact your R & D & I area controller.

Reduced parking fee the rest of the year, at SEK 5 per hour or SEK 30 for a full day

26 November, 2020

For staff and students at University of Gothenburg, the main rule is still not to go to campus if it is possible to conduct work or study from home, but in order to make it easier for those who must be on site, the parking fee within GU’s areas is now temporarily reduced. It is part of the university’s strategy to reduce the spread of covid-19, and is made possible after the Swedish Tax Agency decided that preferential tax for subsidized parking for staff is cancelled for 2020. Parking permits issued for 2020 will apply until September 1, 2021
