The vice-chancellor has decided on a new policy for information security at the university. The policy is an overall regulation of the principles regarding information security on which the university’s work should be based, as well as responsibilities and roles.
The policy is part of the information security management system that is currently being developed. The plan is to in the next step develop a new information classification model and to work on specifying roles and responsibilities throughout the organization. In 2024, all governing documents on IT and information security will be reviewed and updated to ensure a high standard.
- Practical rules on information security are regulated in “Regulations for IT security”. The policy and the regulations are available in Swedish and English and found here: Security policy documents
