January 25 is the premiere of the TV series “Studio 65” from UR. Famous and unknown 65+ people talk about their experiences and thoughts about life as an elderly person. Gripping life stories are mixed with advice, research and inspiration. Among the guests we meet Leif GW Persson, Krister Henriksson, Lasse Åberg, Amelia Adamo and some of Sweden’s leading experts on elderly issues. Hosts are Kattis Ahlström and Anders Palmgren. Ingmar Skoog, one of Sweden’s and the world’s most prominent elderly researchers, participates as an expert and observer.
On December 16, Vitartes submitted a proposal for a lease agreement for the university’s part of buildings 2 and 3. Now follows a longer-term review. The remaining decision-making process takes place according to the following plan.
The steering group for buildings 2 and 3 will meet in February, to focus on the compiled documentation from the system phase and the forecasted cost of premises.
The faculty board will be informed at its meeting in March and the matter will be brought up again in May for decision. The next step, provided that the Faculty Board is positive about the lease agreement, is that they advise the dean of Sahlgrenska Academy to advise the vice-chancellor to sign a lease agreement, which happens no later than May 31, 2023.
