Logan Walsh: The single cell spatial landscapes of the lung and brain tumour immune microenvironment

We would like to welcome you to a seminar with Dr. Logan Walsh from McGill University in Montreal, Canada. Logan Walsh is visiting Gothenburg and will give a talk about his research.

Dr. Logan Walsh is currently leading a research group at McGill University in Montreal, Canada. In February 2023, Dr Walsh published two papers back-to-back in Nature, presenting detailed analyses of the single-cell spatial immune landscapes of lung and brain tumors. This was the result of a fruitful collaboration with a neighbouring lab led by his wife Dr. Daniela Quail. Dr Walsh will present their data, and will elaborate on the potential impact a better understanding of the crosstalk between immune and cancer cells may have on the management of cancer patients in the future.

The seminar is open to anyone interested.
