Collaborative Online International Learning (COIL): online student collaboration between countries

Karin van Ael, lecturer at Thomas More University of Applied Sciences in Belgium, will present the COIL-concept - an international online course in which students from different countries collaborate.

In addition to comparing themes between countries, COIL’s sub-aims include:

• development of intercultural competences
• practising language skills
• practicing digital competences

The presentation is followed by a discussion.

The target group for the event is lecturers of different disciplines and administrators who work with internationalization. Please note that the concept is applicable to different disciplines.
