Certify invoices as quickly as possible – to help the suppliers
During the current pandemic, the Swedish National Debt Office recommends that Swedish authorities pay their supplier invoices before the last payment date. If you are responsible for handling of invoices at the University of Gothenburg do certify them as soon as you can. Thereby you contribute to companies getting liquidity faster. This is a temporary exception from the principle that authorities pay invoices on the last payment day. The procedures for certification of invoices at the University of Gothenburg are not affected by the exception, but work in the same way as before.
New vision decided by the University Board
The University Board has now decided on Gothenburg University’s new vision, which applies from January 2021 and extends until 2030. Now there is work to develop strategies and to clarify the planning and follow-up process in line with the vision. New launch date for new web
The launch of the new external web for University of Gothenburg will be postponed until August 17. The decision is made on the basis of the risk analysis that has been made of how the project schedule and editors’ work may be affected by the Corona pandemic. The launch was previously scheduled for June 9, 2020. This means that the editorial deadline, which was previously scheduled for May 22, will be postponed for about a month. Web editors and light editors thus get more time for the work of creating pages and content in Drupal.
