Swedish Research Council making major investments in a new clinical test for rheumatoid arthritis

Inger Gjertsson, Adjunct Professor in Rheumatology, is the lead applicant for a project that is receiving SEK 24 million from the Swedish Research Council in the call for proposals in clinical treatment research. New findings about stem cells in the brain of patients with epilepsy

NEW STUDY. Neural stem cells have been found in epileptic brain tissue—outside the regions of the brain where they normally reside. New European cooperation for better measurement of the effects of Alzheimer medicines

RESEARCH. AgeCap is the only Swedish partner in a new European cooperation to examine how to better measure the effects of drugs used to fight Alzheimer’s disease. These efforts may ultimately lead to better medicines. Worrying traces of resistant bacteria in air

Charlotta Saldert receives funding from the Swedish Research Council in humanities and social sciences

Charlotta Saldert, associate professor at the Division of Speech and Language Pathology, has received SEK 3.7 million from the Swedish Research Council for her project on difficulties finding words that is related to diseases such as stroke, Parkinson’s disease and MS.
