Good share of funding for exchanges with developing countries

The University of Gothenburg received funding for more exchange projects than any other university or institute of higher education in Sweden in the latest round of applications from the Linneaus-Palme international exchange program, administered by the Swedish Council for Higher Education. The Sahlgrenska Academy is involved in half the projects from the University of Gothenburg that were granted funding.

Better possibilities to study abroad

The government wants more students from Sweden to have the opportunity to study at the very best universities in the world. Partly for this reason, the government has now decided on the bill Study in a globalized world.

The Pedal to Peter Lingström

The Sahlgrenska Academy’s student union, SAKS, has this year decided to give its educational price The Pedal to Peter Lingström, Professor of Cariology. He receives the award partly because he is one of the most student friendly representativesat his institution.
