University of Gothenburg is a city university divided into different geographic areas. In 2012, an analysis was performed to define and name these areas.
Based on the study conducted the University Director has now decided that the university geographic areas are to be called campus. It has also been decided that the University of Gothenburg has five campuses with the following names:
Campus Medicinareberget
Campus Haga
Campus Vasa
Campus Lorensbergsvägen
Campus Rosenlund
Even in the future, it is activities, projects and buildings that should be prioritized in the communication, not the geographic campus concepts.
