UKÄ report: Higher education institutions have coped with the pandemic well – but great strain on students and staff

2 December, 2021

When the Swedish Higher Education Authority (UKÄ) now presents its second interim report on the consequences of the corona pandemic at universities, the picture emerges that the Swedish higher education institutions have generally coped well with the pandemic – but that the strain for students and staff has been great. The interim report shows that the majority of students are satisfied with the teaching during the pandemic, and they have been given approximately the same amount of teacher-led time as before the pandemic. But most students have experienced more stress and anxiety. The doctoral students also think that it has worked well to work remotely, but for many the dissertation work is slower than planned. Read the report (in Swedish) on the website of UKÄ.
