The book (available in Swedish only) not only provides a basic philosophical and scientific knowledge of the signals in the brain that make up our consciousness, but also deals with both religious and artistic perspectives. The author is Pontus Wasling, associate professor at Sahlgrenska Academy and chief physician at Sahlgrenska University Hospital. Akademiliv will return shortly with an interview about the book.
