PhD students and researchers who have recently been awarded a doctoral degree within Sahlgrenska Academy (spring 2019 or later) can apply for travel grants to actively participate in international conferences. The Sjöberg Foundation gives grants to research projects and awards the Sjöberg Prize – an international scholarship of approximately USD 1 million to cancer researchers. Greta and Einar Askers Foundation The purpose of the foundation is to promote, develop and evaluate clinical research at the University of Gothenburg. The Kavli Trust’s programme on health research will during 2020 award a total of 20 million Norwegian kroner to research projects that address selected evidence gaps in child and adolescent mental health. The Kavli Trust is committed to limiting research waste by anchoring research funding in established and prioritised evidence gaps.
