The Sjöberg Foundation gives grants to research projects and awards the Sjöberg Prize – an international scholarship of approximately USD 1 million to cancer researchers. The foundation also contributes to the establishment of a national network for cancer research (PPMC) and patient reviews for the entire country.
In 2020, the Sjöberg Foundation will contribute to research in the following areas:
- Care as well as complementary and integrative medicine for cancer patients
- Severe cancer with poor prognosis
The Foundation welcomes applications relating to unconventional medicines / treatment methods.
The deadline for submitting project proposals is March 31st 2020. This year the project proposals will be submitted directly to the foundation via an electronic application system on the website www.sjobergstiftelsen.se. For the English version of the homepage follow this link.
Those who proceed to the second round must submit the second stage of their grant applications by September 10th 2020.
