Oslo University’s Anders Jahre’s Awards for Medical Research

Oslo University awards two Anders Jahres medical prizes in Oslo 29th October 2020:

Anders Jahre’s medical award for outstanding research or results within medical sciences in the Nordic countries (main prize; NOK 1 million)
Anders Jahre’s medical award to a younger researcher in the Nordic region (NOK 400,000). The researcher must be under 40 years of age on June 15th 2020.

Nordic professors in medicine may nominate candidates for the awards. Nominations must take place before 1 February 2020.

Each nomination should be accompanied by:

A thorough explanation why the candidate should be considered for the award.
A list of publications over the past 5 years (limited to publications where the candidate is the corresponding author), and a list of up to 20 selected publications.
