The fund Hjärnfonden supports qualified research on the brain and other nervous systems as well as diseases, injuries and disabilities throughout the nervous system with at least SEK 600,000 per year. Grants are awarded for one or two years. Agneta Prytz-Folke and Gösta Folke’s Foundation supports research on age-related diseases, Alzheimer’s disease and related functions. Grants are primarily paid for clinical patient-related research in western Sweden. The foundation makes contributions to both medical research and research in health sciences.
