Malin Johansson, a researcher in mucous membrane biology, is set to receive about SEK 1 million from the largest US financer of biomedical research, the NIH (National Institutes of Health).
Favorable dividend from Swedish Radiation Safety Authority
This year’s call from The Swedish Radiation Safety Authority yielded good dividends for the Sahlgrenska Academy and the Sahlgrenska University Hospital. Behind four of the ten approved research projects are researchers from Gothenburg. Research projects are assigned SEK half a million each.
Transplantation Researchers receive SEK 400 000 from the Gelin Fund
Professors Suchitra Holgersson and Michael Olausson have received 400,000 SEK to their stem cell research. The research project lays the foundation for future repairing of the body, instead of transplanting.
