This year’s call from The Swedish Radiation Safety Authority yielded good dividends for the Sahlgrenska Academy and the Sahlgrenska University Hospital. Behind four of the ten approved research projects are researchers from Gothenburg. Research projects are assigned SEK half a million each.
The Swedish Radiation Safety Authority distributes research funds in radiation protection. The aim is to strengthen national capacities. Important criteria in selecting the projects were relevance, issue, methods and skills. The selection was made by a group of external experts.
