COMMUNICATION. The launch of the university’s new staff portal on April 8 means changes for both Sahlgrenska Academy’s internal news and Akademiliv. In a first step, the calendar in Akademiliv will be closed, and its content will be transferred to the Staff Portal.
The new Staff Portal will function more like a proper intranet compared to the current one. Each employee will have a personal starting page with shortcuts to the tools you use often and links to news relevant to you. The change is expected to streamline the university’s internal communication, reduce duplication of work, and make information flow more targeted.
For Sahlgrenska Academy, the content on the website Akademiliv will eventually be integrated into the new Staff Portal. However, the newsletter Akademiliv will continue, with links to content in the Staff Portal and other sources. More information will follow when the new Staff Portal is launched.

To ensure a smooth transition, calendar entries occurring during the month of April should be published both in Akademiliv using the form and in the new Staff Portal via your institute.
