- NEW! Consolidator grant within medicine and health. Announced every year from 2023 and onwards. The purpose of the grant is to give the most prominent junior researchers the opportunity to consolidate their research and broaden their activities as independent researchers. Opens 22 Feb – closes 28 March.
- Distinguished professor grant within medicine and health. The aim is to create conditions for the most prominent researchers to conduct long-term, ground-breaking research with great potential for achieving scientific breakthroughs. The grant shall also enable the establishment and build-up of a major research environment of the highest quality around a leading researcher. Opens 18 Jan – closes 21 Feb.
- Grant for research time within health care sciences. The purpose is to give persons working in healthcare professions the opportunity to conduct research on a part-time basis and to establish themselves as independent researchers in parallel with developing their professional competence. Opens 22 Feb – closes 28 March.
- Grant for research time within primary care. The purpose is to give persons working in primary care the opportunity to conduct research and to establish themselves as independent researchers in parallel with developing their professional competence. Öppnar 19 April – closes 23 May.
- Project grant for research into viruses and pandemics. The purpose is to give researchers the freedom to formulate by themselves the research concept, method and implementation, and to solve a specific research task within a limited period. This is a project grant with focus, aimed at supporting research into viruses and pandemics. Opens 22 Feb – closes 28 March.
- Project grant for research within primary care. The purpose is to give researchers the freedom to formulate their own research idea, method and implementation, and to solve a specific research task within a limited period. The focus of this call is on long-term research into diseases and disease conditions that are diagnosed and treated within and referred from primary care. Opens 19 April – closes 23 May.
- Grant for research time in a clinical environment. The purpose of the grant is to give clinically active persons the opportunity to carry out research on a part-time basis in parallel with developing their clinical competence. The aim is to reinforce and renew medical and clinical research. Opens 22 Feb – closes 28 March.
