The construction is largely completed and the passage between the actual building and the modules is in place. Some work remains, for instance installation of automatic door openers.

The supplier of laboratory furnishings will be on site and start to prepare for deliveries.

Lundberg Laboratory

The replacements of ventilation units on the roof of the Lundbergslab is completed.

On the third and fourth floor work has come quite far. Additional installations are carried out and thereafter preparations for the deliveries of laboratory furnishings are made. The deliveries might cause waiting times for those who need to use the lifts.

Further on the reconstruction on second floor will start, but currently no time plan has been presented.

New premises for the Faculty of Science

Drilling and blasting for the basement floor of the new building, on level four, is continuing. In week 5, an additional excavator will join the scene to increase the outloading capacity for the road behind the EBM media central. This means trucks passing in and out via both gates. In the crossing between EBM and the Wallenberg conference center there will be a safety guard to assist, as the trucks need to back in through the gate. Please pay attention to instructions from the guard.

Please also respect the closed walkway to the right in the slope in the direction of the main entrance of Medicinarelängan and Academicum. Always use the left walkway and not use the car lane.

Blasting in week 5 will take place Tuesday and Thursday at 12.30 with reserve time at 15.00 on the same days.
