EXHIBITION. A large number of conference and event visitors were interested in learning more about person-centered care when GPCC participated for the third time at the Quality Fair. For three days they could listen to seminars, visit the GPCC booth or participate in other activities outside the fair.
The Quality Fair was held November 14-16 in Gothenburg, with a total of 7300 visitors. Many visited the GPCC stand, where they could talk to and ask questions to our researchers about person-centered care. In the booth, visitors could also try the PCV game, get information about the new personalized care books published in the fall, and listen to patient reports in “Try my seat”, an installation that was co-founded with GPCC’s Person Council for patients and close relatives. Several GPCC researchers who staffed the stand have been with all three times the GPCC has participated in the fair.
“What struck me most is that the questions have changed from” This is what we’re doing right now “to” How do we do? “. Many asked about the PCV game and thought it would be used as a basis for work and conversations about person-centered care at APT and the like, reflects Anette Larsson, physiotherapist and GPCC researcher.
