SELECTION OF VICE-CHANCELLOR. An overwhelming majority of voters accepted the policy group’s proposal regarding Sahlgrenska Academy’s representation in the consultative assembly. As such, the 14 people who will represent the Academy in the process of appointing a new vice-chancellor have been selected.
Voter turnout was 27 percent among teachers and just over 22 percent among other staff categories. Of the 173 teachers who voted, 160 voted for the policy group’s proposal, and of the 159 other staff who voted, 126 supported the proposal.
The following eight individuals have now been appointed representatives for teachers at Sahlgrenska Academy in the consultative assembly:
- Professor Carina Mallard, Institute of Neuroscience and Physiology
- Associate Professor Göran Kjeller, Institute of Odontology
- Professor Lill Mårtensson-Bopp, Institute of Medicine
- Professor Per Lindahl, Institute of Biomedicine
- Professor Silvana Naredi, Institute of Clinical Sciences
- Professor Ingmar Skoog, Institute of Neuroscience and Physiology
- Associate Professor Karin Ahlberg, Institute of Health and Care Sciences
The following six individuals have now been appointed representatives for other staff at Sahlgrenska Academy in the consultative assembly:
- Administrator Anja Andersson, Institute of Clinical Sciences
- Administrator Ulrika Lantz Carlsson, Institute of Biomedicine
- IT Coordinator Johan Thompson, Institute of Odontology
- Administrative Coordinator Sofia Särnsten, Institute of Neuroscience and Physiology
- Program Coordinator Malin Asplund, Institute of Medicine
- Program Coordinator Kenneth Wilhelmsson, Institute of Health and Care Sciences
