A new award is now launched to reward educators “whose innovations have led to extraordinary learning experiences.” The award is half a million U.S. dollars, and is called by the settlers themselves for a Nobel Prize in teaching.
The award is launched by entrepreneurs who want to start a global elite university based on new teaching methods online, called the Minerva Project. Minerva project’s goal is to open an on-line university in autumn 2015.
