Environmental Scholarship to e-health tools for foot care

ENVIRONMENTAL ISSUES. Ulla Hellstrand Tang, PhD student at the Institute of Clinical Sciences, is one of thisa year’s recipients of Västra Götaland’s internal environmental scholarships. She gets SEK 10,000 for her e-health tools D-Foot and E-system, which are used to save resources and evaluate the sustainability of preventive measures in health care.

Queen Silvia awards scholarships to two Sahlgrenska Academy doctoral students

GRANTS. The Queen of Sweden presented scholarships from Queen Silvia’s Jubilee Fund for Research on Children and Children’s Disabilities during a ceremony at the Royal Palace of Stockholm on Wednesday, January 28. Two of the six doctoral students who received scholarships were from Sahlgrenska Academy.

Scholarship to GPCC-doctoral student Frida Smith

GRANT. Frida Smith, a specialist nurse in oncology and PhD student at the Centre for Person-Centred Care at University of Gothenburg, receives the 2014 doctoral fellowship from the Swedish Society of Nursing. She receives the scholarship in fierce competition with 30 other applicants.
