Performance-based, Direct Government Funding for Research (Fakultetsanslag) to Be Scaled Back

From now on, the performance-based component of the direct funding that Sahlgrenska Academy’s institutes receives from the national government will be used for strategic initiatives at the faculty level. The change was revealed in the faculty’s budget for the coming year, as set by the Academy Board.

Submit your comments on the Faculty’s Vision 2020 Action Plan

You now have the chance to help shape the faculty’s action plan for 2014, which will determine our path toward achieving the goals of the university’s Vision 2020. Assistant Dean Eric Hanse needs your comments by October 30, since the action plan has to be finalized before being confirmed by the Academy Board.

Prioritized proposals in focus at joint academy meeting

23 September, 2013

Some 70 employees participated in the general meeting of the academy regarding the proposals presented by the Reform Club in its report. The meeting gave the Board of Directors an understanding of which proposals staff would like implement first.
