The Asthma and Allergy Association’s Research Fund annually awards research grants for scientific research on asthma, allergies and other hypersensitivity.
Applications from all scientific fields are welcome provided that the project aims to improve the quality of life for people with allergic diseases. We would like to draw the applicant’s attention to the fact that, according to the fund’s research policy, we support clinical research close to patients. The grants that are granted are approximately SEK 200,000–250,000 per grant year. Thus, applications must be in relation to the size of the grants. Grants are sought for a specific research project (not a research program).
- The main applicant for the project must have a PhD.
- The same researcher cannot be the principal for more than one project application
- The same research group cannot receive support for several similar projects.
- An approved ethics application or an advisory opinion that an ethics permit is not required must be submitted before the granted grant is paid out.
The entire application should be written in Swedish, but can be written in English if the researcher does not speak Swedish.
