De fick Högre klinisk tjänst och ALF-tjänster på doktorandnivå

ALF POSITONS. Dr. Hanna de la Croix was awarded a Senior Clinical Position in the latest call, with an additional 16 doctors being assigned ALF positions at the doctoral level.

The positions will commence on January 1, 2025, but for those at PhD level there is also the possibility to start from July 1, 2024. Below is a list of those appointed an ALF position with the title of their research project. The decision to appoint ALF positions to doctors with a medical degree has been accelerated due to high demand. A notice is planned for the end of May/start of June.

Registry Research on Inguinal Hernia

Hanna de la Croix, Associate Professor at Sahlgrenska Academy and Senior Consultant Surgeon at Sahlgrenska University Hospital, has been awarded a Senior Clinical ALF Research Position. The position entails 50 percent research time funded by ALF over two years, with the possibility of a two-year extension. Hanna de la Croix conducts research using national and international registries to study the risk of recurrence and chronic pain following inguinal hernia surgery.
