The Internationalization Council at Sahlgrenska Academy hereby announces strategic grants (round 2) for internationalization at home, for strengthening existing collaborations where agreements have been concluded or to stimulate new strategic collaborations. The Internationalization Council would particularly like to welcome applications with a focus on internationalization at home this round. The purpose of these strategic funds is primarily to stimulate initiatives linked to internationalization at home, but also to stimulate deepened and broadened collaborations where contacts already exist, as well as for the establishment of new collaborations with a long-term perspective and strategic importance. It is not possible to apply for pure research collaboration, but the academy likes to see that the collaborations have a good research connection. There is no geographical limitation regarding partner universities, so it is also possible to apply for partnerships within Europe. These funds are to stimulate international collaborations at the three educational levels; bachelor’s (first cycle), master’s (second cycle), doctoral (third cycle). For 2024, SEK 400,000 SEK is available for this purpose. After the 1st application there is 159 250 SEK left to apply for.
