In autumn, demolition projects will commence on both sides of Per Dubbsgatan, gradually leading to its closure for car traffic. However, public transport, ambulance, and rescue traffic will still have access. The restrictions on car traffic at Sahlgrenska University Hospital’s main entrance are expected to be in place, to varying extents, tentatively from autumn 2024 until 2030. The exact timing and duration of the street closures remain uncertain, as plans for the demolitions are being finalized with contractors, and procurement is ongoing.
These demolitions are part of preparatory work, which also involves constructing a temporary ambulance hall, reinforcing culverts, and conducting reconstruction activities.
More comprehensive information regarding the traffic restrictions is anticipated to be released before midsummer.
