SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT. How do you envision the development of Medicinareberget with regard to sustainability? What sustainability activities do you think Gothenburg University and Akademiska Hus should prioritize? Students and staff are welcome to an open workshop in Medicinarelängan with representatives from the university’s property unit and the property owner Akademiska Hus.
Ewa-Lena Bratt, Vice Dean for Internationalization, Collaboration, and Sustainability, is unable to attend the workshop due to teaching commitments. She welcomes the initiative and hopes that many others will be able to participate:
“Come, join us, and shape a more sustainable future for us all. Contribute your concrete ideas and make your voice heard. Here is an opportunity for both staff and students to make a real difference for sustainability,” says Ewa-Lena Bratt.
To provide inspiration
This is the first open sustainability workshop with students, staff at Medicinareberget, and representatives from the university’s property unit and Akademiska Hus. The workshop aims to provide more ideas for sustainability activities. During three hours, there is an opportunity to contribute and discuss anything related to sustainability. The results of the workshop will be collected to serve as a basis for future change projects. The organizers seek suggestions ranging from the smallest to the largest. All proposals are welcome!
The workshop will be held at the restaurant Salt and Syra, Medicinarelängan 7B. No pre-registration is required. Come anytime between 9 am and 12 pm, and stay as long as you like.
Gothenburg University and Akademiska Hus actively work on sustainability issues, and since 2021, we have a collaboration agreement aimed at helping us prioritize the right actions for the greatest impact. The focus is on how we can develop the physical environment since that is where we (the university’s property unit and Akademiska Hus) have the most opportunities to make a significant difference.
