GRANTS. The board of the Jubilee Clinic’s Cancer Fund, at its latest meeting on February 13, 2024, allocated over 18 million SEK to cancer research at, and in connection with, the Jubilee Clinic at Sahlgrenska University Hospital. Most of the 34 cancer researchers benefiting from the funds are also affiliated with Sahlgrenska Academy.
Of the allocated amount, approximately 1.9 million SEK is designated for “research months for clinicians,” an initiative intended to facilitate clinically active individuals at the Jubilee Clinic to focus on their research.
Assessment and proposals for allocation regarding projects and research months are made by a completely external research committee consisting of six highly renowned cancer researchers, with no connection to research or activities at the Jubilee Clinic.
