Jan Holgersson, professor of transplantation immunology, is appointed as vice dean responsible for infrastructure and facilities. Jan Holgersson holds his academic position at the Department of Laboratory Medicine, Institute of Biomedicine. He also holds a position as a senior physician at Sahlgrenska University Hospital, where he previously served as the head of Clinical Immunology and Transfusion Medicine. Through his work with advanced medications at the Cell and Tissue Laboratory as well as the Stem Cell Laboratory, he has also in recent years been involved in the development within the ATMP field.
