A strong team
“I think we have put together a really strong team, where the various vice deans show great breadth and represent large parts of Sahlgrenska Academy. We believe that they will complement each other well with their different skills and backgrounds”, says Jenny Nyström, who takes over as dean of the faculty on January 1.
Work is underway to appoint another vice dean, for infrastructure and premises.
“The areas of responsibility for the vice deans will be the same as in the previous period. We plan to have a dialogue with them about exactly what tasks should be contained within various assignments. There may be some adjustments. An addition is sustainability, which is an aspect we want to include in one of the vice dean’s assignments”, says Magnus Simrén, incoming vice dean.
