The Physicians Against AIDS Reserach Fund supports research into HIV infection and AIDS, especially aspects relating to treatment and prevention and vaccines. Priority is given to projects that have a clinical connection and to applicants who have recently started their research. Support is normally only given to research that has a clear connection to a Swedish university or hospital.
