Nearly 78 percent of the voters said yes to Magnus Simrén as Pro-Dean

The drafting committee’s proposal to appoint Magnus Simrén as Pro-Dean received support from 77.9 percent of the voters. The voter turnout was 43.1 percent. Out of the 552 valid votes, 116 (21 percent) were blank votes. Six votes were cast for other candidates (Karin Ahlberg 1, Jan Borén 2, Lars-Gunnar Petersson 2, Henrik Zetterberg 1). The election was conducted electronically from November 1 to 10, 2023. The drafting committee submits the voting results to the Vice-Chancellor and proposes that the Vice-Chancellor decides to appoint Professor Magnus Simrén as Pro-Dean of Sahlgrenska Academy for the period from January 1, 2024, to December 31, 2029.
