Anneli Ozanne receives four million from the Neuro Association for ALS research

Anneli Ozanne, nursing associate professor at the Institute of Health and Care Sciences, receives four million SEK from the Neuro Association for her ALS research. As a dual-role university hospital chief nurse at Neuro Care, Sahlgrenska University Hospital, she aims to develop a support intervention for families with a parent diagnosed with ALS. Focusing on families with home-residing children up to 25 years old, Ozanne addresses the often overwhelming burden on these families, highlighting the project’s goal to showcase the necessary redesign of support, acknowledging its current inadequacies and national disparities.
