When the School of Public Health and Community Medicine is co-located in 2024 in the building that is today known as the Earth Science Centre (Geovetarcentrum, GVC), the building will be renamed. Its new name will be The Health Science Center (in Swedish Hälsovetenskapligt Centrum – HVC). The department is now also investing in increasing collaboration, through the establishment of a special group that has begun its work on improving collaboration with various actors in society. On October 18, the School of Public Health and Community Medicine is also organizing a research and education day for the entire department, together with Regional Health’s FoUUI organization.
