Otto Savolainen: SciLifeLab Metabolomics platform – Metabolomics for the masses

Metabolites are essential components in all living organisms. In this talk a range of services for metabolomics are presented. A light lunch will be offered. Deadline for registration is 19/9.

Otto Savolainen is the head of the Swedish Metabolomics Centre (SMC), which offers small molecule, lipid and metabolomics analysis in biological tissues and fluids using mass spectrometry methods. SMC is part of SciLifeLab (www.scilifelab.se), a national infrastructure within life science with a wide range of advanced technology and expertise. The SciLifeLab site in Gothenburg includes units at both the University of Gothenburg and Chalmers University of Technology and has a strong connection to Sahlgrenska University Hospital.
