Max Petzold becomes Deputy Vice-Chancellor for digitization and utilization

Elected Vice-Chancellor Malin Broberg has presented the new management for the University of Gothenburg. Carina Mallard is assigned as Pro-Vice-Chancellor, and the assignments as Deputy Vice-Chancellors go to Pauli Kortteinen, Mette Sandoff and Max Petzold. With the current Vice-Chancellor’s decision this week to appoint Johan Johansson as university director, the management is now fully engaged. Max Petzold is thus appointed Deputy Vice-Chancellor for digitization and utilization. His assignmenets include overall responsibility for digitization, open science, ethics, information security, sustainability and internationalization in relation to research, as well as for development in relation to societal challenges locally, nationally and internationally as well as chairmanship of the library board and the committee for ethics in research and vice chairmanship of the research committee.
