During West Pride (June 5-11), the Biomedical Library participates with the presentation “Avvägar och onaturliga laster – synen på den samkönade kärleken i medicinska boksamlingar” (held in Swedish – the title in English is ‘Aberrations and unnatural vices – the view of same-sex love in medical book collections’). The presentation will be given on June 11th at 14:15 at Trappscenen (the stair stage), on level 1 in the Gothenburg City Library. It is librarian Karin Emanuelsson who talks and reasons about older medical literature that sometimes points to a derogatory view of people
