Four years the Medical History Museum in Gothenburg has been closed for renovation. On May 28, it finally reopens to the public and inaugurates the new base exhibition “Fire and Blood”. The exhibition takes a comprehensive approach to Gothenburg’s history of medicine through 400 years. The museum is located in Oterdahlska huset, Östra Hamngatan 11.
During the closure, the museum has, among other things, worked extensively on digital accessibility and published over 1,000 images from its photo collection on Wikimedia.
