The government has today decided to appoint Malin Broberg as the new vice-chancellor at the University of Gothenburg. She takes office on July 1st, 2023.
“I would like to wish Malin Broberg the best of luck in her work as vice-chancellor at the University of Gothenburg. With her solid academic background in psychology and experience in management assignments, she has good conditions to carry out her upcoming role in an excellent manner”, says Minister of Education Mats Persson in a press release from the government.
The question of who will be pro vice-chancellor will be decided by the university’s board on June 14. The candidates Carina Mallard and Max Petzold are interviewed on May 23 by the hearing assembly.
