The Chan Zuckerberg Initiative (CZI) has recently awarded 14 grants from their program Advancing Imaging Through Collaborative Projects, and the Centre for Cellular Imaging (CCI) is partner in two of the grants. One is received through the Network of European Bioimage Analysts, and the second through Correlated Multimodal Imaging Network. Julia Fernández-Rodríguez, head of CCI, is co-PI for the projects. The purpose of the projects is to strengthen the profession of Bioimage Analyst, and to add more resources and knowledge to local research support. The projects harness the power of multimodal imaging from basic research to clinical diagnostics, facilitating access and training the next generation of researchers.
