You can now choose to protect your account with multi-factor authentication

In the spring of 2023, the university will introduce the option to switch on multi-factor authentication on your GU-account. This method for logging into a user account uses two steps to verify that it is the right person logging in. When you activate multi-factor authentication on the account, you need to verify your login to certain services within Microsoft 365 when you connect from an external network, for example when working remotely. This applies, among other things, when you log in to the email or to storage areas within the productivity platform. Read further on the Staff Portal.
