Ana Luís, researcher at the Department of Medicinal Chemistry and Cell Biology at the Institute of Biomedicine, has been named by The International Glycoconjugate Organization (IGO) as this year’s recipient of the Hakomori Young Glycoscientist Award. The award is given to an early-career glycoscientists who has advanced the field of glycoscience with the prospect of further achievement. Ana Luís will receive the prize and the prize sum of 1000 USD in connection with the organization’s congress Glyco26 in Taiwan at the end of the summer.
