The Assar Gabrielsson Foundation awards the prize for best thesis in cancer research issued by the University of Gothenburg within Region Västra Götaland in the last three years, with the possibility of receiving a research grant of SEK 100,000 in the autumn 2023.
The prize is awarded in basic science cancer research and clinical cancer research.
A complete application must be submitted to the foundation’s office by February 1st 2023. The board will decide the award in the spring of 2023 and the award ceremony will take place in May. The awardees then have the opportunity to apply for a research grant of SEK 100,000 by October 1st 2023 the latest.
