Inauguration of the Centre for Lifestyle Intervention

On February 22, a new clinical research center will be inaugurated at Östra sjukhuset, which will produce new knowledge about lifestyle changes. Listen to world-leading researchers!

Lifestyle-related ill health in society is increasing. Every year, thousands of Swedes die from diseases that could have been avoided with a healthier lifestyle. The Centre for Lifestyle Intervention will develop new knowledge about changing lifestyles, develop new individually adapted methods for lifestyle changes and contribute to developing the healthcare system to better treat and prevent lifestyle-related diseases such as cardiovascular diseases, cancer and type-2 diabetes.
